Let Us Tell You Our Story

Inspired by a Watchmaking Grandfather

Co-Founder Brian’s grandfather, Bernard Brown, was a watchmaker. After returning from World War II with a purple heart, Bernie used the GI Bill to study watchmaking at the Waltham Watch Company. His love of watches was passed to his grandson and today we hope to honor and continue his legacy through Hawthorn Watch Co.

Heritage Timepieces

We drew inspiration for our watches from dozens of timepieces from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s, the era of Bernie’s watchmaking. Our timeless designs mean your watch won’t look out of place in the coming decades.

Quality Materials

Premium materials were chosen so that our watches can be passed down for generations. We use surgical grade 316L stainless steel, anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal, Maine tanned leather, and a Swiss movement.

Every Part Custom Designed, Every Curve Considered

We continuously labored over each detail for over a year to perfect our heritage aesthetic. Every piece of the watch, besides the precision Swiss movement, was custom designed and made to our exact specifications. No off the shelf parts were used.
